the Twin Velvet Special

By heckleher - Posted on 01 November 2008

OK. Obviously not the real title but it's my nickname for the project until a real title emerges.

I wax in epic length about the idea  on my blog but here's the short and sweet of the starting line questions:

How to posess an audience?

How to strain the supernatural/subconscious worlds through a filter that still maintains coherence and humor?

How to give audience recognizable visual motifs?

How to create a mute villian?

How to travel from fantasy world to "real world" and what gives us access?

What about disappearing acts where the person reappears? And is reborn/transformed forever?

What must be destroyed in order to attain the fantasy?

and courageous. Thank you for bringing us something original and new to the theatre. I mean, that's what we're all doing but this is quite bold. Thanks for taking the risk.
