Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Congratulations for making it across the finish line with time to spare. I think second acts are tough as a rule. I'm not sure what other people think, but it seems like I spend more time working out the second act - even when/if drafting certain parts of it comes easy.

I'm going to put up information for uploading your play (I've already made the 2011 play category live). But you can take the next few days and rewrite, then upload on Wednesday.

Okay. I got through Act Two. It took three times as long to write as Act One, but I'm finished.

The second act is really rough. It probably needs a complete re-write. I feel like I lost all of the humor and just focused on the darkness. But maybe that's not a major problem since I don't think the play is all that funny from the get-go.

Now I have three days to revise and edit, so I won't be too embarrassed to share it...

I've been out of the loop most of this week! It's crazy that there's only four days left. I'm not winning this year. But my play WILL be done by the end of December (it's my deadline for my writing group). I'm still going to be writing up through the 30th. I might get some writing in today... but I also have to clean this weekend. I wish there was more time. :(
