November 17
No doubt I shall go on writing, stumbling across tundras of unmeaning, planting words like bloody flags in my wake. Loose ends, things unrelated, shifts, nightmare journeys, cities arrived at and left, meetings, desertions, betrayals, all manner of unions, adulteries, triumphs, defeats... these are the facts. ALEXANDER TROCCHI
I love this quote because this is always how I feel at this point in November (you know, when I'm actually writing that is instead of editing). I feel like it's been a battle to get this far, and, well, read the quote again and you know exactly how I feel.
How are you doing? And feeling? Hope things are going well for you, that you are planting bloody flagged words and making those loose ends, things unrelated and nightmare journeys into something that makes sense...and if not, that's what a rewrite is for. Onward in your battle, soldiers! Onward!
