Struggling, but still on it

End of week one and while I'm pushing forward, I am having to work hard to keep my internal editor from gumming up the works. Right now he's telling me that my premise is thin and I probably don't have enough to work with to get a whole play written. Maybe there's enough for a one act or only a 10 minute piece. I keep pushing ahead, trying not to feel that there's nothing interesting to hold the audience's attention. I'm not even bothering with stage directions at this point. Can't say I haven't been here before since I've always been better at beginnings then ends.
