Just over 76 pages. I finally figured out how to save a script as a PDF in Celtx (you have to choose the TypeSet tab & then the "Save PDF" button, if anyone is struggling with this not-very-user-friendly aspect), and got it uploaded.
The title, "Cabin Pressure," is a bit too on-the-nose, perhaps, since it's a play about people putting pressure on each other in a cabin, but I kinda like it anyway...
Helen Back is great! What I'm wondering is how much I should broadcast that it's a Western in the title. ..? Plus it's quite referential to Hamlet, and the mythical Furies play a role, too. There's just so much going on... Helen Back Saloon? I never gave her a last name...

It is 75 pages... Im happy I reached the minimum limit of pages! Up loaded it five days ago. Thank you, it has been a great experience! :-)

good for you! that's a LOT! excellent!
Here's some Rhino-Aid (like gatorade but you know, for rhinos) and be sure to walk it off...and be happy, your work is done!!
good for you! and have fun editing. It will be a good time (i'm not being crazy, either, i LOVE editing!).
that's kind of like the moment where i realized last year that 'Highway to Hades' was the perfect title for my play and it seemed that NO ONE had used it before! I loved it.
Obviously I don't know if this fits the style of what you've written, but on the little I know I'd go for "HELEN BACK".

Hooray hooray and bliss, last night reached 79 pages! I'm still doing minor edits today and tomorrow, and recording and podcasting it tomorrow night. I love it, and I'm glad I didn't have to force it to be long enough, which worried me early on.

Wow.... 108 pages! Damn. Well deserved break and celebration!!!
Go Rhino, go !
... I 'll be happy to answer. :P
Yep. You can do that. Upload both and then email me to let me know what you titled the one you want public. Then I will make it so... Voila!
Did you win?
Go Rhino, go !
As of 11:46 tonight, I am finished. The total clocks in at 88 pages, although 3 of those don't count (Title page/character page/author's note). So my final count is 85 pages! Woo!
Now, to load it!
So close! What a feeling!
A ship in the harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are for.
I have to get ten more pages down. I'm so close to the end I can feel it. Maybe if I buckle down tonight, I might actually get there a whole two days early!
Dottie this probably isn't the right forum and I will cross-post, but can we upload a selection for public consumption, and leave the full-length script private?
Yay winners!!! Congratulations!
Remember if you want your plays to be public after you upload them, you need to send an email to info at naplwrimo dot org. Otherwise they are for your eyes and for the admin only to validate your page count~
Certificates will be available on December 1st. In the mean time, congratulate yourself and wait for your name to appear on the winners list~~
Woohoo~~~~
Go Rhino, go !
77 pages. Possibly longer, if I go back and play in the next couple of days. And, as usual for a play written in NaPlWriMo, it's a lovely and hideous mess.
The Wild West Noir is done. Almost 77 pages. (I forgot to post here too.) I can't wait to send it around to my trusted readers. (Only trusted readers get early drafts!)
A ship in the harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are for.
And that's it for me. It's a collection of short plays rather than one, which I know doesn't technically count. But that's what I needed to work on. And still - 108 pages in 28 days. Damn. That's it for me, I'm off to celebrate!
Just trying to put the ending on it. Will be interesting when going back to re-write. Lead antagonist was omitted due to time and may not be written in later. Protagonist's wife, previously expected to be major character has been greatly reduced. She is a stronger character with reduced lines. Her impact is greater, too.
