The Christmas Play

By atribolini - Posted on 05 November 2009

My friend Machelle got on my ass about not being active on the site so here I am. I'm writing The Christmas Play (working title) I'm not sure what it's about at this point. I have been reading a lot of Lillian Hellman recently and it feels like some of her style is bleeding into my stuff.
Anyway - up to 10 pages today and thanks for the neener-neener Machelle!

Aah yes, I thought so. We must have met when I lived there.

Go Rhino, go !

Yes I am in Seattle - just a couple of blocks from Freehold.

Getting into the holiday spirit the old fashioned way, I see. :)

Andy, you're a Seattlelite, yes?

Go Rhino, go !

That's what I like about having a place to come post like Naplwrimo about what you're writing. It's a little kick to keep going, knowing that you have to publically announce how many pages you may or may not have done in a day.

I can't do that anymore because you're now ahead of me in page total.  But I agree with you from Facebook...that gentle prodding from fellow Rhinos is a great motivator.  It's easy to let myself down, but if I've convinced myself that I would be letting somebody else down, it helps keep me on target.

Carry on!

A ship in the harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are for.
