iLove You. (A Crappy Working Title)
The play I'm working on actually kind of snuck up and smacked me over the head and demanded to be worked on. I was going to choose a different idea I was working on - a companion piece to another play I just finished - but this one reared it's head and wants attention. Damn plot bunnies...
Anyway, it's a play based on a true story about a guy and girl who had 24 hours of romance in person but were then forced to be in separate countries. That first 24 hours is a prologue and the rest takes place over the internet. I had put it off until now because I couldn't fathom how to stage chat conversations, voicemails, emails, blogs and facebook posts but I think I'm starting to work it out.
I still have many of the conversations and things archived but most of my work is going to be on deciding what goes in and out and what gets changed and how to end it. Like an adaptation I suppose.
