A Rose by Any Other Name

"A Rose by Any Other Name" is a fictional account of the true story of a pair of young British lovers who share an unnatural love for one another. At the request of their biological mother, Elizabeth Rose, Richard comes to visit and falls madly in love with Elizabeth's daughter, Caroline. Their hopelessness is born out of their intense and undeniable attraction for each other despite the knowledge that they are half brother and sister. When their biological mother finds them consummating their forbidden love, they are arrested and confess to multiple counts of incest. Sentenced to live apart for a period of nine months, Caroline divorces her husband and leaves her two-year old daughter in order to be with her lover-sibling again in a country who views their love as not only illegal but immoral.
