Gavel
I've been thinking about this play for far too long to not have finished it already. I have written bits, outlined, blah blah blah. So I am joining the ranks of teh rebels - it doesn't qualify as a winner, but writing 75 pages will be a winner.
I am going enter into te spirit of the event though, so all my previous notes and work have been "filed". I will embark with nothing but 200 pages of scrap paper, two biros, and a steely gaze.
The play is about a brilliant young painter, and his big chance. It's based on his relationship with his dealer and his girlfriend. Thematically, it explores the idea of commitment.

Wow, this is really very nice. I had no idea how this might work; I thought perhaps I would be posting into silence, and so now feel very motivated by the sense of community and shared struggles.
It's been great reading everyone's updates.
Today is my day 1. It's a bit confusing as where I am is almost a day ahead of the site, but I am planning on 20 weekdays of writing, starting right now. Or should that be write now.
Good luck everyone!
