Helpful Books for Writing the Play Itself

By solarcirclegirl - Posted on 15 November 2008

I wish I could say I've never just sat around reading it, but Roget's International Thesaurus is a total godsend. I've been working on Choral Odes for my play, and there's only so many times you can use the word 'faithful' before it starts to lose its meaning. Enter the Thesaurus. This one is heaftier and more expensive, but it's worth it. It's arranged by category, and has an index in case you get tripped up and can't seem to find the word in the category you think it might belong in. It's saved my butt this morning.
