The Machine
Ben is convinced his house is haunted, but Chester, his friend and landlord, hesitates to believe him. Tension mounts between the two friends when Chester's love interest jumps ship to hang out with Ben and share his search for otherwordly life. When Ben builds a machine to help them find proof of the spectral activity, he uncovers the startling truth about the young couple who lived in the house before he and his mother moved in.

It's been bugging me all week, the way I had the play ending. So I made myself sit down this morning and tough it out and put together an ending that's more in line with the way I like to do things, bringing together various elements from earlier in the play, but still tossing in a few surprises. I like it better. Obviously it will still need some crazy revising and editing, but if i could get a few of my actor pals together to do a reading of it, that might yield some good results.
