Creative Overload
I'm back! I was temporarily ensconced with a 140 page thesis I was editing for an MBA student (gotta pay the bills somehow) but that is happily in my "sent" items and I plan to devote the rest of November to creativity! (Here's hoping my "bosses" don't read this mail!)
Do you also find that when you're in the habit of writing a lot then you just want to write more, and lots of different things? That's why I like doing Nano and Napl at the same time - when my characters in "12 Steps" don't want to play then I just pop on over to novel land. And vice versa. And then there's the four short stories and two short plays I have to write this month, and this great idea Dael Orlandersmith gave me for a dramatic poetry thing...and don't get me started on my blog. It was just a fun idea, but then it really took off, and now so many people are emailng me about it and I'm just basking in the fun of it all.
I also love to read when I'm writing a lot. Well, ok, I just love to read, but especially when I'm writing! And seeing other plays! I've had a great theatrical month, with Zoo Story, Yellow Man, and this Saturday Gaetan Schmid's Rumpsteak again! It's like a veritable word feast.
So everyone, gather up all the words you can, and then they will overflow onto your pages!

Great idea! I like murky, and eerie. Inundated is good as well...
