Moment Repeated in Workshop (working title)
Hey all,
A little behind in posting and starting my play, I have about a half a page so far, but also stage managing a production of 'Othello' and heading into the last week of rehearsals, followed by the move into the theatre, followed by technical and dress rehearsals, followed by opening, followed by the run of the show. Hence trying not to run around like a chicken with my head cut off, while also doing NAPlWRIMO. Fun, fun, fun!
The Moment Repeated in Workshop (a working title, will probably change, but I like having a title to begin with)...three hander: two woman, one man...don't you just hate it when they're are three people in the bedroom? In a figurative and metaphorical sense, it's not that kind of a show. The tale from the point of view of the other woman.
Slightly autobiographical. A little bit on the side of voodoo playwriting. An exorcism of an experience in a sense.

Everything we write is us just vomiting out our experiences. That's the gross way of saying, "write what you know".
Welcome!

yes, having a title is a great start, even if it changes! And I love triangles, they're great to work with.

I think many plays are exorcisms of the playwright's experience.
I can't wait to read it. Thanks for starting and for posting your premise.
