Jennifers by Dean Lundquist
Actor, David Williamson is looking for the love of his life. He meets three potential candidates who all just happened to be named "Jennifer." David's on stage life begins to reflect his off stage life and vice versa. A richly symbolic play filled with music, fantasy, mythology and the theatre.
Who wanted to know about airline pilots and school?
I cannot find that post any longer. Whoever you are, I shot of an email to my friend, Rob, who lives in the So. Cal foothills and is not only a pilot but a flight instructor. Not surprisingly, he's gone a lot and is not a very avid emailer at that, so he took a while to get back to me.
He's been a pilot for about 12 years.
Here's what he had to say:
Into week 3...
Week Two. Sunday Check-In.
Where is every body at with their page count? I had a bad week so I'm at about twenty-five or so. Not very good, I know...
Tools for motivation.
I just discovered this great tool called Write or Die. You can set a timer and there are consequences when you don't write fast enough or don't reach your word count.

Day 15 - the half-way mark.
Hello Rhinos... I imagine our own Josh Conkel is at the protests helping us all make the world an equal one so I am posting today's forum.. We, at Naplwrimo, support equality for all rhinos and hope you are doing your part, wherever you are...
We're half way through our marathon. It's not too late to catch up if you're behind. It's not too late to check-in. It's not too late to ask Dean how he did it ( we have our first winner folks , congratulate him !)
Helpful Books for Writing the Play Itself
I wish I could say I've never just sat around reading it, but Roget's International Thesaurus is a total godsend. I've been working on Choral Odes for my play, and there's only so many times you can use the word 'faithful' before it starts to lose its meaning. Enter the Thesaurus. This one is heaftier and more expensive, but it's worth it. It's arranged by category, and has an index in case you get tripped up and can't seem to find the word in the category you think it might belong in. It's saved my butt this morning.
The Machine
Ben is convinced his house is haunted, but Chester, his friend and landlord, hesitates to believe him. Tension mounts between the two friends when Chester's love interest jumps ship to hang out with Ben and share his search for otherwordly life. When Ben builds a machine to help them find proof of the spectral activity, he uncovers the startling truth about the young couple who lived in the house before he and his mother moved in.
